Sample DNA Test Results
Viewing sample DNA test result even before getting your own will give you a good idea of what you can expect. We have here attached two paternity test results. These are not actual results belonging to anybody of course. We have just created two pseudo-reports just to help you gain insights and learn about the results. You can observe the full 15 genetic locus DNA profile as well as important terms like the probability of paternity.
This samples we have here provided are only relevant to paternity testing. We have provided you with 2 results; one result showing the alleged dad is not the biological father and the other result showing that he is the biological father. Both tests do not include the mother's sample.

It is also important to note that :
- One of the genetic loci tested, labeled as amelogenin is used to deterime the gender of the person who submitted the DNA sample. See article 'The amelogenin gene in DNA testing' for more information. We test 16 genetic markers (1 out of these 16 is the amelogenin sex gene). When you carry out a paternity test we compare a 15 genetic marker profile between alleged father and the child as the amelogenin sex gene is not needed for this comparison.
- Forensci tests performed through discrete samples such as hairs or blood stains do not change the result presentation of the test result since once the DNA is successfully extracted, the testing process is similar to that of a standard swab analysis. What we do suggest however, is that you seek a consultation with one of our DNA testing experts. We always prefer to give you all the information you need about your samples. In some cases we might even be able to suggest better samples to use. Our customer care team is only a phone call away.
