DNA Profiles

You can now have your own unique DNA profile through easyDNA's accurate and reliable DNA profiling services. A DNA profile provides the unique identification of a person. Comparison of DNA Profiles can also be used as a basis for the identification of the person's biological relations.

What can the DNA Profiles be Used for?

There are various applications and uses for a DNA profile. For example, in the case of large estates or inheritances, the DNA profile can help protect the estate from wrongful claimants through the confirmation of whether there is a biological relationship or otherwise.

In the case of highly paid corporate executives or people who operate in high risk jobs or high risk areas, having your own DNA profile will ensure identification in the case the person goes missing or other scenarios such as kidnapping and ransom requests.

The service can therefore be widely used and its applications can vary depending on the case.

What does the DNA Profiling Service Provide?

Once we receive your sample, it will be processed in our state of the art DNA testing laboratory. The analysis will be based on 16 different genetic markers which will be reported in your DNA test result. (you can see a sample of the markers in our Sample DNA Test Results section). Results will be ready within 5 to 7 working days after receiving your samples at the laboratory unless  you select our express option.

The profile can be obtained either for informative purposes at a cost of NZD$265.00 or alternatively for legal purposes at a cost of NZD$465.00.
